Manor Road Co-operative Nursery School provides a warm and nurturing environment for your child's first preschool experience. We are a not-for-profit nursery school run by parent volunteers in midtown Toronto. Founded in 1937, we are proud to be Canada's oldest co-operative nursery school.

At Manor Road, teachers and parents work together to promote self esteem and trust. Through a combination of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities, children are provided the opportunity to explore and learn at their own pace. A low child to adult ratio allows each child to receive personal attention, and a large premises (with our own fenced in playground) gives each child plenty of space to grow. Our rich and varied curriculum stimulates each child's physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth. Our goal is to build in each child a confidence and a love of learning that creates a strong foundation from which they may draw throughout their lives.
